Cornell Capa Dead

Cornell Capa was an American photographer, member of Magnum Photos, photo curator, and the younger brother of the late photo-journalist and war photographer, Robert Capa. Capa was also a Life magazine staff photographer from 1946 to 1954.

Additionally, Capa was the founder of the International Center of Photography.

Affordable Art Fair New York City - 2008

It’s time again for the Affordable Art Fair New York City - June 12-15. “AAF NYC is the place for new and established collectors to discover and buy paintings, drawings, sculptures, video, photography and limited edition prints from distinguished galleries, all priced from $100 - $10,000. This year the Fair will host more than 70 galleries from the US, Europe, Asia, Canada and South America.”

General admission is only $17!, and kids under 12 enter for free. What an awesome opportunity to see new, emerging and established artists from around the world.

Robert Rauschenberg Dead

“A painter, photographer, printmaker, choreographer, onstage performer, set designer and, in later years, even a composer, Mr. Rauschenberg defied the traditional idea that an artist stick to one medium or style. He pushed, prodded and sometimes reconceived all the mediums in which he worked.”
